Villager beheaded in South Darfur

The beheaded body of a displaced man was found near the village of Habouba in Gireida locality, South Darfur, on Wednesday. “Daoud Adam Bulees left his home on Tuesday to collect firewood on Tuesday in the area of Um Buloulu, 30 km south of Gireida town,” one of his relatives told Radio Dabanga. “When he did not return, the family went to search him. They found his body and severed head in the Um Lageina forest, near Habouba village, on Wednesday. His donkey cart is missing.” The relative noted that the murder was reported to the police, “who said they could not act because of a lack of fuel”. The beheaded body of a displaced man was found near the village of Habouba in Gireida locality, South Darfur, on Wednesday.
