Village sheikh strangled in Kabkabiya, North Darfur

A sheikh was found dead in his house in Margouba village, Kabkabiya locality, on Monday.
A listener reported to Radio Dabanga from the village, west of Kabkabiya town, that unknown assailants strangled Sheikh Ishaq Adam El Douri in his house early on Monday evening.
“Later that evening, his relatives found him lying dead on the ground, with traces of blood on his nose and his mouth. On Tuesday morning, they took his body to Kabkabiya Hospital for autopsy.”
The source said that the motives for the murder of the sheikh are “far from clear”.
