Unamid patrol ambushed in South Darfur

A group of gunmen stole two vehicles belonging to a Unamid military patrol unit in Khor Abeche, South Darfur, on Friday. Multiple sources reported to Radio Dabanga that the gunmen intercepted the unit on its return from a mission in the vicinity of the Unamid base in Khor Abeche in Niteaga locality. The attackers stripped the peacekeepers of all their weapons, and took the two cars with them to an unknown destination. A group of gunmen stole two vehicles belonging to a Unamid military patrol unit in Khor Abeche, South Darfur, on Friday.

Multiple sources reported to Radio Dabanga that the gunmen intercepted the unit on its return from a mission in the vicinity of the Unamid base in Khor Abeche in Niteaga locality.

The attackers stripped the peacekeepers of all their weapons, and took the two cars with them to an unknown destination.
