UNAMID continues aid delivery in N. Darfur

UNAMID announced it continues to deliver aid to the displaced in North Darfur following two weeks of tribal clashes in the region that forced hundreds of thousands to abandon their homes. The mission is currently delivering humanitarian assistance to the villages of Saraf Omra, Kabkabiya, Al-Sref Beni Hussein and Abu Gamra. On Tuesday, 22 January, UNAMID airlifted 12.000 kilograms of aid to Al-Sref Beni Hussein and to Abu Gamra, bringing the total to 56.000 kilograms so far. The mission is currently delivering humanitarian assistance to the villages of Saraf Omra, Kabkabiya, Al-Sref Beni Hussein and Abu Gamra.
