UK Foreign Affairs official meets Sudan Revolutionary Front in Berlin

The delegation of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) led by its chairman Malik Agar, on the second day of its visit to Germany, had various meetings with German officials, as well as with a representative of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Yasir Arman, SRF Secretary of Foreign Relations and spokesperson for the delegation, described to Radio Dabanga the visit to Berlin as successful. “We had very fruitful talks with German government representatives, as well with the official responsible for the Sudan file at the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who flew to Berlin to meet the delegation.” “We have now met three representatives of permanent member countries of the UN Security Council, France and Britain, and previously, we met the US Special Envoy to Sudan. This means official recognition of the SRF by three UNSC member states.” Arman noted that the “Khartoum regime” has tried to hinder the SRF’s visit to Europe in many ways. “They have for instance tried to block meetings with dignitaries in the European countries we wanted to visit, but we managed to break through the blockade and meet government representatives in various countries to brief them on our stance, which is regime change, for the sake of justice, equality and democracy in Sudan.” File photo: Abyei displaced (Tim McKulka/Unmis) Related: SRF ‘attacks’ on Sudanese army battalions in South Kordofan (12 November 2013) Sudan Revolutionary Front delegation in Berlin – Paris meetings successful (11 November 2013)Sudan Revolutionary Front in Europe to ‘wake up’ international community (8 November 2013)
