Two slain, three injured in South Darfur and East Jebel Marra

A displaced man was shot dead, and two others were injured in an attack by militiamen near Gireida town in South Darfur early this morning. A few hours later, in East Jebel Marra, a herder was killed this morning, and another wounded by cattle thieves. “Government-backed militiamen attacked a group of displaced farmers, who passed the night on their farmlands in the area of Donki Abyad, about 7 km south of Gireida town, at 3 am this morning,” a farmer from the area told Radio Dabanga. “They fired at the group, killing Adam Ibrahim Mohamed instantly.
