Two murders in North and West Darfur

On Saturday, a man was killed defending his wife and daughter against an attack by militiamen in Tawila locality in North Darfur. A woman farmer was shot dead by herders in West Darfur.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, Omda Musa Mukhtar Bosh reported that seven militiamen riding camels raided the home of Ibrahim Adam Wadjaboud in Korofulla on Saturday evening.

Speaking to Radio Dabanga, Omda Musa Mukhtar Bosh reported that seven militiamen riding camels raided the home of Ibrahim Adam Wadjaboud in Korofulla on Saturday evening.

“The janjaweed grabbed his wife and daughter with the intention to rape them. When Wadjaboud protested, they shot him dead. The men then stole his 150 sheep, and made off in the direction of Tarny.”

In the area of Azirni in West Darfur, militant herders shot a number of farmers on Saturday.

“Hawa Adam Mohamed Abakar was killed instantly. Her son sustained serious bullet wounds was transferred to El Geneina hospital,” a farmer reported to this station.
