Two people died at a hospital in central Darfur on Sunday as a result of the attack on Tabara market. The two had been wounded on the attack which took place on 2 September during a time of busy afternoon shopping. Approximately 60 people are now counted as dead in that attack. Citizens who fled from the violence in Tabara and the surrounding area are suffering from extremely difficult conditions due to lack of food, shelter and medical services. There are still about 1200 families in the open because of lack of space to accommodate them within the camp at Tawila. The homeless appealed to international aid organizations and the United Nations to intervene to rescue them.
