Motorcycle

In El Salam camp, east of Kabkabiya town, Osman Mohamed Abdelshafi (36) was shot dead by two militiamen.

The coordinator of the Kabkabiya camps for the displaced related how a group of militiamen in a Land Cruiser stopped near the camp.

“Two of them disembarked and went into the camp, where they saw Abdelshafi's motorcycle parked in front of his sister's home. They entered her shelter demanding the victim give them the motorcycle's key. When he refused, they shot him dead in cold blood.”

The coordinator added that the two perpetrators were stopped by angry camp residents, before they could leave with the motorcycle. “When they ran away, one of them lost his rucksack containing a military uniform. We reported the incident to the police and handed them the rucksack, but they did not move to trace the killers.”
