Two killed in raid on North Darfur camp market

Two people were shot dead at the market of the Sortony camp for the displaced in Kabkabiya, North Darfur, on Monday.
“At about midnight, a group of gunmen attacked three commercial vehicles loaded with goods that had arrived at the market a few hours earlier,” a camp elder reported to Radio Dabanga.
He said that the owners of the vehicles exchanged fire with the attackers, which resulted in the death of one of the drivers, Khamis Zakaria Taha, and a vehicle owner who has not been identified yet.
“The gunmen then took the three vehicles with them to an unknown destination,” the camp sheikh said.
