Two killed east of Kass in attempted cattle raid

Two people died yesterday in Khor Gambid east of Kass in South Darfur after being shot by unidentified gunmen who were trying to steal a herd of cattle. The source told Radio Dabanga from Kass that the dead men belonged to the Ta’alba tribe. They were buried in the Kass as the perpetrators were unsuccessfully pursued eastward. The incident was reported to the police in Kass.
