Two people are missing following an attack by gunmen of a group of firewood collectors north of Mershing in South Darfur.

Four others managed to escape. One of those who escaped told Radio Dabanga that a local rescue team and a joint force of Rapid Support Forces, as well as the police, went to the crime scene, but only found two dead donkeys. The location of the two missing people remains unknown, he said.
