Two held by Military Intelligence in West Darfur

Members of the Military Intelligence detained two residents of Sirba camp for the displaced in West Darfur on Thursday evening.
The coordinator of the Sirba camps informed Radio Dabanga on Sunday that El Haris Hussein and El Sadig Burma were held when they returned to the camp from the Libeina market in Jebel Moon locality. “They were taken to the Sirba military garrison. Their families have not heard from them since.”
He further reported that two other Sirba camp residents, Mohamed Abaker and Mousa Suleiman, were summoned daily to the security office in Sirba last week. “They were asked about activities of the rebel movements about which they know nothing,” he said.
The coordinator appealed to the Commissioner of Sirba to “intervene and stop these human rights violations immediately”.
