Two people were killed and two others were injured in two separate shooting incidents in West Darfur’s Sirba locality on Saturday.

Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a farmer reported to Radio Dabanga that a group of herdsmen drove their livestock onto farmlands in the area of Maalaga.

“When we confronted them, they fired at us, killing Ibrahim Abdallah Muhajer and Bakhit Ishag Abu Nura instantly,” he said.

In the area of Saraf Jidad, an army soldier took a number of goods from Mohamed Ishag’s shop, but he refused to pay. When Ishag protested, the soldier shot him and Mohamed Izzeldin who was present in the shop.

They were taken to El Geneina Hospital in serious condition.
