Seeds imported from Turkey failed to germinate in El Gezira state. The Farmers’ Corporation in El Gezira Northern Section want criminal investigations. A farmer from El Gezira said he started sowing 27 feddaan of wheat, but he stopped as the seeds did not germinate at all, he told El Arabiya TV channel.The deputy minister of Agriculture for El Gezira state, Mohamed Hassan Jubara, promised to start immediately with investigations into the case of ‘false seeds’.
