Tijani Sese arrives in Chad

Dr Tijani Sese, head of the Darfur Regional Authority, has arrived in the Chadian capital, N’djamena, on Wednesday 17 October for a three day visit to hold talks with Chadian President Idris Deby, Radio Dabanga was informed. Dr Sese, who is also head of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM), is accompanied by Bahar Idris Abu Garda, federal health minister and secretary general of LJM, and Haidar Galo Koma, governor of West Darfur.Ahmed Fadel, spokesperson for the LJM said that Sese will discuss with Deby the bi-lateral relationships and the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur. It is expected that the talks will cover themes such as security on the borders between the two countries and the voluntary return of refugees as well as the role Chad could play in influencing those who reject the peace process, the spokesperson added to Radio Dabanga from Khartoum.
