Three sisters gang-raped in Darfur’s East Jebel Marra
Militiamen gang-raped three sisters, two of them minors, in East Jebel Marra on Sunday. “Four government-backed militiamen on horseback on Sunday assaulted the sisters, aged 21, 17, and 15, while they were tending their farmland in Wadi Taya in Dobo El Omda,” a relative of the victims told Radio Dabanga. “They raped all three alternately for four hours, after which they left in the direction of Kabkabiya town.” The women were transferred to Kabkabiya hospital for treatment.
