Three people, including a girl, were injured in two separate shooting incidents in West Darfur on Monday.

On Monday evening, militiamen opened fire on a group of market vendors in Sese camp for the displaced in Kereinik locality and robbed them of all their goods.

Adam Matar Ali sustained light injuries while Mahdi Omar was seriously wounded. He had been taken to the hospital in El Geneina for treatment, a witness told Radio Dabanga.

An attack on displaced farmers by militiamen south of Murnei on Sunday evening left 12 people wounded.

In Adar village, north of El Geneina, gunmen opened fire on several houses in an attempt to steal their contents on Monday. A girl was seriously wounded.

A fire that resulted from the gunfire burned two houses to the ground.
