Three people die in heavy rains near Rwanda camp

Three people including two children drowned near Rwanda camp in North Darfur after unexpected heavy rain fell in a valley near the camp. Witnesses said the two children were with their mother in the valley. She went off to collect firewood and came back to find the bodies of her children and an old man floating in the water. They said the rain came at an earlier time than usual across El Fasher, Nyala and Zalingei. They demanded that humanitarian organisations move to assist displaced people and provide them with strong tents, tarpaulin and medicine to treated diseases spread by the rainy season.
