A university student and two other people were killed in three separate incidents in North and South Darfur on Tuesday.

A group of herdsmen shot at Aleldin Ibrahim Saleh in Mashrou Abu Zeid in East Jebel Marra, after they drove their camels onto their farms. Saleh tried to chase them away, but was killed in the spot.

In the mines of Jebel 'Amer, in El Sareif Beni Hussein locality, gunmen opened fire on Bakrit Abdelrahman Abdushaf, a student at the University of Nyala. Abdushaf was on his way to the gold mines at the time of the attack.

Osman Mohamed Adam was shot dead in Dalal Angar, South Darfur, on Monday at 9 pm. Two militiamen opened fire on Mohamed Adam when he was on his way from the market in Dalal Nagar to his village in Kardi.

The perpetrators killed him and took SDG200 ($32.40) along with his mobile phone, according to a Radio Dabanga source
