Three displaced abducted in Central Darfur

Militiamen abducted three people in the Nierteti North camp for the displaced in Central Darfur on Friday as ‘compensation’ for a number of stolen cattle.
“A group of militiamen driving a Land Cruiser mounted with a Dushka machinegun stormed the market of the camp’s Centre 7 am on Friday,” a camp elder reported Radio Dabanga.
“They accused butcher Yahya Osman of slaughtering the cows they lost earlier this week, and seized him, his mother Maryem Abdelrazeg, and his assistant Adam Hussein, and took them to an unknown destination.”
