Thieves kill displaced man at Central Darfur house

A displaced man was shot dead in his house at a Central Darfur camp by armed militiamen who were trying to steal his sheep early on Friday morning.One of the elders of the camp at Jebelain in Garsila of Wadi Saleh told Radio Dabanga the house of Adam Musa Mohamed Abdullah was invaded by two militiamen, one with a knife and another with a firearm.When Abdulla attempted to resist the thieves, one of them shot him through the chest. He died of his wound outside his house at 2.00 am. The camp sheikh said that although the police were alerted to the incident, they “took no action”.File photo
