Sudanese military attaché robbed in Juba

Sudan’s Charge d’Affaires in Juba, Majdi Ahmed Mufadal, announced that the house of the Embassy’s military attaché was robbed on Wednesday night. ‘The attackers wanted to steal only.’

Sudan's Charge d'Affaires in the South Sudanese capital, Majdi Ahmed Mufadal, announced that the house of the Embassy's military attaché was robbed on Wednesday night.

Mufadal told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that gunmen using firearms attacked the military attaché's house resulting in the theft of some belongings and harmed three persons in the house. The Sudanese diplomat in Juba pointed out the attackers wanted to steal only, while denying any attempt to target people.

“An armed group attacked the house and wounded three people in the house, they sustained minor injuries, and the attackers are criminals,” he said.

He said that some suspects were arrested but he could not confirm whether they were involved in the incident or not.
