Sudanese Air Force bombs Jebel Marra villages

A house was destroyed, livestock killed, and farmlands burned in new air raids on villages in East Jebel Marra on Wednesday. Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that from 9-9.30 am, 12 bombs were dropped by an aircraft of the Sudanese Air Force around the villages of Dubbo al Madrassa and Turbo. Two of the bombs fell inside the village of Dubbo Al Madrassa. While no human casualties were reported, the house of Fatima Musa took a direct hit and was destroyed. The other 10 bombs fell around the villages, killing several cattle, and causing areas of farmland to burn.
