Sudan: Six people killed in bus accident

Six people were killed in a traffic incident on the national road between Khartoum and Kosti on Thursday.

The bus carried a number of passengers coming from Um El Gura in White Nile state, to the Sudanese capital. Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that the bus collided with another bus coming from the opposite direction at El Awaj.

Six people died instantly, including the bus driver. Approximately ten others were wounded and taken to El Duweim hospital.

Four of the wounded were seriously injured and transferred to Ibrahim Malik hospital in Khartoum.
