Grants

Last month, the NISS boosted the finances of the two main Sudanese football clubs, El Mireikh and El Hilal, with a donation of SDG1 million ($166,000) each.

The Sudanese security apparatus is enhancing its “societal role” in Sudan, a senior security officer said on the occasion.

At a ceremony organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Khartoum last month, security director Lt. Gen. Mohamed Atta El Moula said that the NISS is already supporting many universities, student societies, scientific programmes and journeys, and cultural and sports activities.
