Sudan police kills student in his house in C Darfur –source

A high school student was shot dead inside his house by a Sudanese police officer on Wednesday in Nertiti, Central Darfur, sources say. Witnesses do not know the motive of the shooting. They told Radio Dabanga the 18-year old student Maher Tijani was involved in a quarrel over water dispute by a well in the area that ended up “peacefully”. The crowd dispersed after the dispute and after that Sergeant Abdel Moneim shot the student at his home located in the Kembo Rabat neighborhood of Nertiti, sources said.Radio Dabanga file photo: water well
