‘Sudan Air Force’ drops four bombs in East Jebel Marra

An Antonov aircraft allegedly belonging to the Sudanese Air Force dropped four bombs in two different areas of East Jebel Marra on Thursday evening. No human casualties were yet accounted for.The bombs killed several livestock and set some areas on fire, sources told Radio Dabanga from East Jebel Marra.“The Antonov was intensively searching the East Jebel Marra region throughout the day before it dropped four bombs at 6pm on Thursday. One bomb landed near Keira and three others near Khor Dali,” a local witness said.105 bodiesOther villagers said they buried 105 bodies of army soldiers who were killed in battles against rebel forces in Nimra ten days ago.Nobody tried recovering the bodies, sources said, adding “because they started to decompose, we decided to remove them fearing the spread of diseases.”East Jebel Marra residents also complained of degrading inspections they are submitted to when trying to get to the weekly markets of Tabit or Tawila.“We are accused of collaborating with the insurgency. The bombs killed several livestock and set some areas on fire, sources told Radio Dabanga from East Jebel Marra.

The Antonov was intensively searching the East Jebel Marra region throughout the day before it dropped four bombs at 6pm on Thursday. One bomb landed near Keira and three others near Khor Dali,” a local witness said.

105 bodies

Other villagers said they buried 105 bodies of army soldiers who were killed in battles against rebel forces in Nimra ten days ago.
