Yassir Arman, deputy secretary-general and head of the SPLM parliamentary bloc, held President Al Bashir responsible for the attack on the SPLM ministers and deputies on Monday in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. He said the repression because of the peaceful demonstration clearly demonstrates that the country is in a state of undeclared emergency. He asked to lift the repression sooner rather than later. He further stressed in a news conference yesterday the need to sack the NCP Ministers of Justice and Interior, the president of the National Council and the Director General of Police.
Radio Dabanga announced it will broadcast his speech at the conference later today.
