South Darfur robberies leave four dead

Four people were killed in separate incidents in South Darfur over the past few days.
A listener reported to Radio Dabanga that the brothers Saleh and Abdelatif Mohamed Ishag were working on their farm in the area Jumeiza Karra, north of Kass, when three gunmen fired at them. They were killed instantly. The gunmen then took their belongings and fled.
In the Um Laweina gold mine, east of Kass, armed robbers shot a gold digger dead and stripped him of his gold and his mobile phone.
On Friday night, a policeman was killed in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur. His body was found at a Television and Video Club, a witness told this station. His mobile phone was missing.
