Sissi wants specialists for Darfur Regional Authority

Chairperson of the Darfur Regional Authority Tijani Sissi spoke of the need to involve academics and specialists in the enforcement of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD). The meeting was held on Monday in Khartoum, organized by the National Foundation for Development and Stability in cooperation with university professors of the Darfur Peace Center and Sudan University of Science and Technology. Amin Hassan Omer head of the office of implementation of the DDPD is expected to ask President Bashir to issue a decree in the coming days to approve the Transitional Authority and formation of the Darfur Regional Authority, said a source. Tijani Sissi has already filed some nominations of appointments of ministers to President Bashir.
