Several Sudanese soldiers injured in Kabkabiya

Radio Dabanga was informed by witnesses in the Kabkabiya area of North Darfur, that residents heard explosions and saw smoke rising from the areas of Tilmasa, Boulet, Aramba and Dibleh south of Kabkabiya on Friday September 14. The witnesses confirmed taking several injured soldiers of the Sudanese forces to the hospital in Kabkabiya for treatment. On another note, the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) announced tackling an attack by government troops and militias on Friday. The government troops attacked several areas south of Kabkabiya which are currently under SRF control. Mustafa Tambour, military spokesperson of SLM-Abdelwahid, told Radio Dabanga the government troops suffered human and material losses. Radio Dabanga did not succeed to contact the Sudanese military spokesperson for comments.
