Security forces raid Kassala University in eastern Sudan

A number of students sustained injuries in an attack by security forces on the campus of Kassala University on Wednesday. “Security forces in five vehicles raided the campus at 4 pm on Wednesday, where student activists were campaigning for the Students’ Unit elections,” student Hamror Hussein reported to Radio Dabanga. “They beat us with batons. A large number of students were injured.
