Sanitation problems in northern districts of El Fasher

The population of the northern districts of El Fasher complained about the emission of odors and the breeding of flies and worms due to the accumulation of waste in the lots that have been allocated as a dump near those neighborhoods. The people in the area attributed the accumulation of such waste to the strike of sanitation workers who did not receive their salaries for two consecutive months. One resident of the Dagagay neighborhood said that they cannot sleep and stray dogs threaten the lives of their children.
