Pro-government militia kill 2 and injure 2

Witnesses accused pro-government militias of killing two people and injuring another two in Garbassi, East Jebel Marrah locality in South Darfur on Thursday 6 September. They added the militia also looted properties and livestock from the village. A relative of one of the fatal victims told Radio Dabanga that the pro-government militia, riding camels and horses, comes from the El-Gardud area, in Kass locality, South Darfur. According to him, Haj Osman Omar, 70 years old and Adam Omar Nur, 40 years old, were killed during the attack. The relative added that the brothers Jacob Mohamed Adam and Osman Mohamed Adam got injured. He appealed to UNAMID, and to local and regional authorities to protect the citizens and their properties.
