Prices of consumer goods soar in El Sareif, North Darfur

The people in El Sareif Beni Hussein locality, North Darfur, are living in dire health and humanitarian conditions. Prices of consumer goods are soaring. Speaking to Radio Dabanga from El Sareif, Mohamed Ibrahim El Tirei, from El Sareif Youth Group, described the humanitarian situation in the locality as “extremely serious”. “There is a severe lack of medicines and doctors in El Sareif Beni Hussein. Besides, the already impoverished people cannot pay most of the basic consumer goods anymore, as the prices in the locality are sky-rocketing.
