Pregnant woman killed, two injured in air raid on Darfur’s Jebel Marra

A pregnant woman was killed and two others sustained serious injuries in an air raid on the area north of Deribat in Jebel Marra today.
A relative of the deceased reported to Radio Dabanga that an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force dropped three barrel bombs on the area of Yuro, north of Deribat this morning.
“Um El Kheir Yagoub, who was eight months pregnant was killed instantly. Aisha Yahya Yagoub (22) lost her legs, and Kaltoum Yousef Ahmed (35) was also seriously injured.”
She said that the explosions set fire to several houses, and caused panic among the residents who fled to the neighbouring forests and valleys in the Mount Marra.
