Pregnant woman gang-raped, 17 ‘missing’ in Kass, South Darfur

A group of gunmen gang raped a displaced woman near the town of Kass in South Darfur on Sunday afternoon. In Kass locality, 17 people are ‘missing’ for more than a month. The woman, several months pregnant, and her husband were intercepted by militiamen in the area of Feras, in the vicinity of Kass town, the head of Women Issues of the Kass camps reported to Radio Dabanga. “They beat the husband with their whips, seriously injuring him, before they raped the woman alternately. Both were taken to a hospital in Kass.
