Parents complain of political threats during exams

Some parents of students in Saraf Umra in North Darfur accused a group supporting the National Congress Party of threatening students that their examination papers will not be corrected unless the students support the National Congress in the elections. One teacher in Saraf Umra said they had received complaints in this regard and they explained to the students that whatever the group does it would not affect the evaluation of locality or state exams. On the other hand, North Darfur State Minister of Education said the exams are going as planned. He said the ministry is not aware of any situation that would call for intervention by the appropriate authorities.
