Nyala flooded by returning students

The state government of South Darfur was taken by surprise, when 370 students, who study away from Nyala, suddenly turned up, in a private jet at the airport. On the same flight, were other people, Darfuri, who reside in Khartoum, and other Sudanese.

The state government of South Darfur was taken by surprise, when 370 students, who study away from Nyala, suddenly turned up, in a private jet at the airport. On the same flight, were other people, Darfuri, who reside in Khartoum, and other Sudanese.Abdul-Hamid Musa Kasha, governor of South Darfur, asked assistance from the state and members of government, and the security and intelligence service, for dealing with such a large influx of people. Yesterday, in a press statement, Kasha said, that he wants to monitor the conditions of the students, expressing the government’s surprise, over the arrival of so many students, to Nyala airport. Students of North and West Darfur have been provided with a hostel, so they can visit their families.

Students, having, suffered under severe living conditions, elsewhere, have returned to Nyala for the holy month of Ramadan. Khasa thought that this migration would add to the crisis in Darfur.
