NUP leader’s son critically wounded in North Darfur attack

The victim's father told Radio Dabanga that armed elements attacked his son Abdelmalik between El Fasher airport and the army command in an attempt to seize his vehicle. When he refused to hand it over to them, they opened fire and wounded him in the chest.

He has been taken to El Fasher hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
