Number of school drop-outs rising rapidly in North Darfur

The director of the North Darfur Childhood Council reported that the number of school drop-outs is increasing rapidly this school year.
Childhood Council director Khadija Adam told Radio Dabanga on Sunday that hundreds of students left their classes because of their inability to pay the monthly tuition fees.
She noted that some school students walk around in their uniforms during school days in search of work at the markets and the neighbourhoods in El Fasher, capital of North Darfur.
