North Darfur students protest increased registration fee rise
On Tuesday, students of the Faculty of Medicine of El Fasher University rallied in front of the University Director’s Office in protest against the increase of the registration fee.
The fee has been increased from SDG345 ($54) to SDG700 ($110). The rallying students demanded its reduction.
The Students have threatened to continue their protest until the university administration responds to their demands.

Reports reached Radio Dabanga today that three of the students, Mudar Abulla Ishak, Ali Ismail Ali, and Al Murdi Muktar, were arrested. Ishak was reportedly beten and trortured by security agents during the arrest.
