Governor of North Darfur Osman Yousif Kibir issued a decree firing National Congress Party (NCP) members in the state legislature and the local council.

Governor of North Darfur Osman Yousif Kibir issued a decree firing National Congress Party (NCP) members in the state legislature and the local council. Salah Mohamadi, one of the fired members of the legislature told Radio Dabanga that their dismissal came after they had sided with the independent candidate for governor Ibrahim Mohamed Suleiman.
