The new head of the EU Delegation to Sudan, Jean-Michel Dumond, arrived in Khartoum last week.
He is expected to present his credentials to the Government of Sudan in the coming days, the EU Delegation to Sudan said in a press statement on Saturday.
Ambassador-Designate Dumond was formerly the EU Head of Delegation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Before that, he served as the French Ambassador to Nigeria. He has been posted to Germany, Italy, and Romania.
