Khartoum criminal court begins trial of Darfur students

The criminal court of Khartoum East initiated the trial procedure of three university students from Darfur accused of participating in events that led to the protests that took over Sudan’s capital in late 2012. Sources confirmed to Radio Dabanga the names of the three students who appeared in court on Monday: Zuwarah Ahmed Yousef, from the Niles School of Management Level II; Rafidah Abdul Aziz Adam Abdullah, enrolled at the Sudan Management Level II; and Hassan Sulaiman, from the University of Sudan information Technology Level II.
