The vision of the delegates of displaced people and refugees matched with that of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) regarding the importance of justice in the peace agreement. Both parties are affirming the importance of inclusion justice provisions in any peace agreement. They want articles on trials of Darfur war criminals, as well as fair compensations to war victims, reconstruction of the villages and provision of security to ensure return of refugees and displaced people and returned of land to the real owners.

The representatives of displaced people and refugees met with the JEM on the sideline of the Doha conference yesterday. The refugees and displaced people stressed to the movement that the differences among the rebel factions has inflicted great harm upon them and led to divisions and demanded the necessity of the factions agreeing. The delegation of displaced people and refugees had held similar meeting with the head of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM), El Tigani Sese, who seemed conservative on the issue of compensations and the delegates demanded him to not sign any partial agreement.
