The Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) denied the existence of an understanding between JEM leader Khalil Ibrahim and the presidential advisor Ghazi Salah al Din who is currently in N’djamena  for talks with the movement. JEM spokesperson Ahmed Hussein told Radio Dabanga that Khalil Ibrahim is only conducting consultations with the Chadian leadership. He revealed that western ambassadors carried out consultations with the movement. Earlier, the JEM signed a framework agreement with the government before the peace negotiations in Doha where they suspended the talks after some days.
