Hundreds protest in Khartoum

Hundreds of people demonstrated yesterday in the cities of Khartoum, Omdurman and Khartoum Bahri against the high cost of living and rising prices. The student demonstrators called for the resignation of the government. Riot police used sticks, batons and tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. Police and security services also arrested dozens of demonstrators.
