Herders kill farmer, abduct two in North Darfur

A farmer was shot dead by militant herders in Tawila locality today. A man and girl were kidnapped.
A farmer reported to Radio Dabanga that a group of armed herdsmen entered their camels onto the farmland of Hawa Nureldaim near Dubbo El Omda this (Sunday) afternoon.
“When she attempted to chase the animals away, the herders shot her dead,” he said.
The source added that herders abducted Dawoud Hussein (21) and Shadia Haroun Abakar north of Dubbo El Omda. “They also seized 41 cows and left in the direction of El Malam in South Darfur.”
